Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of HVAC products and solutions focused on Housing Associations and District Heating projects in Prague and neighbouring regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in sales.

 

Work Environment: This is a remote position based anywhere within the Czech Republic. The role involves frequent travel, with a minimum of 60% of the time spent visiting customers, partners, or internal teams across the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting IMI products by working with the customers 
  • Conduct thorough technical assessments of clients' HVAC needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, and partners
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to demonstrate the value of our HVAC products and services
  • Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless implementation of HVAC solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
  • Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach and networking activities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company
  • Update the company Salesforce system with all information on the sales region, which includes customers, orders and projects
  • Maintain all required records of sales and other relevant information
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC sales or a similar technical-commercial role
  • Proven knowledge of HVAC systems and components, ideally within the housing or energy sector
  • Strong understanding of district heating and energy efficiency solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC products and industry trends
  • Experience in conducting technical presentations
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
  • Proficient in MS Office and HVAC-related design software
  • Experience using HVAC-specific sales tools and technologies
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Driving license (Category B)
  • Language requirements: Czech (native), English (minimum B2 level)

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex information to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and managing time effectively while on the road

  • Two final candidates will meet in person with their future manager on sites (45-60 min)
