In order to reinforce our engineering unit located on Axisparc, 5 minutes away from Louvain-La-Neuve, and specialised in electronic and software development for hydronic circuits of heating and air-conditioning systems, we are looking for an embedded software development engineer.

Your function:

  • You join the team to develop firmware for embedded systems integrating different IoT communication protocols.
  • You participate to the split of functionalities into tasks, the technical analysis and the estimation of the development work.
  • You write test plans, unitary tests, tests of new functionalities and non-regression tests.
  • You follow up on bug reports and debug accordingly.
  • You document the implementations and actively participate to the knowledge transfer in the team.
  • You keep a constant technological watch in order to propose pertinent and innovative evolutions.

Your profile:

  • You have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge in C and Python and at least 3 years practice in embedded development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good practical knowledge of English is a must; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • You are willing to mingle with teammates developing products involving embedded software, iOS/Android apps as UI and industrial communication protocols.
  • Being curious about how things work and learning the technical applications of the final products is important.
  • You are creative, eager to learn, flexible and collaborative.
