Role Overview:
IMI’s Climate Control sector is looking for a Global Paid Media Specialist to support our Central and Local Marketing team. This role involves developing and executing paid media strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth. It requires a solid understanding of digital advertising and the ability to manage and collaborate with third-party digital agencies to ensure optimal campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, with a particular focus on paid media in a B2B environment. The role reports to the Global Marketing Activation Manager.
IMI’s Climate Control sector is dedicated to working with its customers to deliver indoor climate solutions. Together, we focus on maximising energy efficiency and control for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Our products and system knowledge can be applied to heating, cooling, and domestic hot water applications.
Work Environment: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence three days per week at our Budapest, Hungary or Madrid, Spain location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement paid media strategies across platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic, affiliates) for both central and local campaigns aligned with business objectives
- Identify new paid media opportunities to boost customer acquisition, brand visibility, and campaign effectiveness
- Manage third-party digital agencies, providing clear direction, monitoring performance, and leading quarterly reviews to ensure alignment with company goals
- Oversee end-to-end campaign management, including planning, execution, A/B testing, creative development, and budget optimisation to meet KPIs
- Coordinate campaign activation with Local Marketing, Product Marketing, and Digital teams, ensuring timely delivery of assets, translations, and campaign readiness
- Analyse campaign data and performance, generate actionable insights, and present results and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Manage and optimise paid media budgets, track spend, and adjust allocations to maximise ROI and align with market conditions
- Support broader digital initiatives, including organic content scheduling, global social media oversight, and training local teams to drive collaboration and performance
Critical Competencies for Success:
- 4 - 6 years of experience in paid media management, with at least 2 years managing third-party digital agencies
- Strong understanding of the B2B landscape, including customer behaviour and digital marketing trends
- Proven success managing large-scale paid media campaigns with significant budgets and measurable results
- Proficient in digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Business Manager, and programmatic tools
- Skilled in analytics platforms, including Google Analytics, Looker Studio and other reporting tools.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and marketing automation platforms is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management capabilities, with attention to detail and deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable working independently and within a team
