We are seeking a fullstack cloud developer to join our team based in Mont-Saint-Guibert (Louvain-La-Neuve). The ideal candidate will have solid experience in web development and a comprehensive understanding of the associated ecosystems.

Your function:

·       You join the team to develop the cloud and associated web interface for our industrial connected devices. The objective is to bring the easiness of consumer products to professionals while ensuring a strong reliability.

·       You participate to the split of functionalities into tasks, the technical analysis and the estimation of the development work.

·       You write test plans, unitary tests, tests of new functionalities and non-regression tests.

·       You follow up on bug reports and debug accordingly.

·       You document the implementations and actively participate to the knowledge transfer in the team.

·       You keep a constant technological watch in order to propose pertinent and innovative evolutions.

Your profile:

·       You have a background in web development and have a good overall vision of a web backend architecture.

·       Excellent knowledge and practice with the different components of the stack:

o   Rust

o   HTML/CSS/SVG/WASM

o   AWS through Terraform (and the AWS console)

o   PostgreSQL

o   You do not need to master all of these; willingness to learn is essential and experience in other stacks is valuable.

·       Good practical knowledge of English is a must; proficiency in French is a plus.

·       You are willing to mingle with teammates working on other parts of the stack (embedded software, iOS/Android, industrial communication protocols). Being curious about how things work and learning the technical applications of the final products is important.

·       You are motivated, eager to learn, flexible and collaborative.
