Role Overview
The Senior Contracts & Compliance ManagerSpecialist is a key member of the Legal & Compliance team, supporting commercial contracting and compliance activities across Climate ControlEurope.
Working closely with Sales, Procurement, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Finance, HR and IT teams, the role helps ensure that IMI operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and contractual commitments. The position combines contract management, compliance support and legal operations, contributing to the effectiveness, consistency and efficiency of Legal & Compliance processes through the use of digital tools and best practices.
This is a practical, business-facing role requiring sound judgement, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Contracts & Commercial Support

Support the review, negotiation and management of a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, distribution, confidentiality, software, consultancy, service and partnership agreements, escalating complex or higher-risk matters where appropriate.

Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooksclause libraries, guidance materials and contracting processes.

Support contract lifecycle management activities and approval workflows.

Provide practical guidance to business stakeholders on contractual obligations and approval requirements.
Compliance & Risk Management

Support the delivery and continuous improvement of IMI's compliance programme across Europe, including risk assessments, monitoring, audits, reviews and testing.

Support third-party due diligence processes and compliance investigations as required.

Monitor legal and regulatory developments and support implementation activities where relevant.

Contribute to the development, maintenance and communication of compliance policies, procedures and training, covering topics such as anti-bribery, competition law, data privacy, AI governance, trade compliance and sustainability.

Support governance processes and the maintenance of compliance records, reporting and monitoring plans.
Legal Operations & Continuous Improvement

Support the implementation, administration and optimisation of Legal & Compliance systems, tools and technologies.

Contribute to process improvement, standardisation and knowledge management initiatives, including the effective use of digital and AI-enabled tools.

Produce and analyse contracting and compliance metrics, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Stakeholder Partnership

Build effective working relationships across Europe and act as a trusted business partner, providing practical, commercially focused support.

Support business initiatives and projects from a contracts and compliance perspective, coordinating with external advisers and service providers where appropriate.
Critical Competencies for Success

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.

Minimum 5 years' experience in contracts management, compliance, legal operations, commercial management, procurement, risk management or governance.

Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.

Experience supporting compliance programmes, audits, risk assessments or due diligence activities.
-
Strong organisational and project management skills.
-
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in an international environment.

Commercially minded, with sound judgement and high professional integrity.
-
Fluent English, any other European language would be an asset.
