About the Role
IMI Climate Control is looking for an experienced HVAC Sales Engineer to drive sales of HVAC products and solutions within the Hungarian market. This role combines technical HVAC expertise with commercial responsibility, focusing on customer engagement, solution selling, and long‑term relationship building. You will play a role in strengthening the IMI Climate Control brand, expanding market presence, and contributing directly to the growth of a dynamic and international organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the IMI Climate Control brand by working closely with customers, contractors, consultants, and partners
- Conduct detailed technical assessments of customer HVAC requirements, including system specifications and application needs
- Recommend tailored HVAC products and solutions based on technical analysis and project requirements
- Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key clients, installers, consultants, and industry partners
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical proposals
- Collaborate with internal engineering, application, and project management teams to ensure successful project implementation
- Proactively identify, generate, and qualify new sales leads through networking, market visits, and customer engagement
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to regional and company growth objectives
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of customers, sales activities, orders, and projects in Salesforce CRM
- Ensure proper sales documentation, reporting, and compliance with internal processes
- Continuously update technical and commercial knowledge of HVAC products, standards, and competitor offerings
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3–10 years of experience in HVAC sales, sales engineering, or a similar technical sales role
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and applications
- Proven track record in B2B sales and customer relationship management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Willingness to travel within Hungary as required
- Good English skills – written and spoken (B2 level required)
- Hungarian – native required
